Hawaiian Vote 2006 seeks to motivate Native Hawaiians to register and vote in the 2006 election through an extensive voter education project, utilizing
the strength and resources of unified community-based
organizations. This effort is strictly non-partisan, endorses no candidate(s) or political party, but is committed to Hawaiian empowerment
through our voting numbers.

We believe that the Native Hawaiian vote is the Sleeping Giant that has been
slumbering long enough.
Our statistics show that Native Hawaiians comprise twenty percent of the population in
the State of Hawaii, a potential power house at the ballot box that has been dormant since 1998 when more than 100,000 Hawaiians registered to vote
for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
